CanDB is a web-based database built for 52nd Solution's client Western Sydney University, tracking the patient journey for people with upper gastrointestinal cancer. It gives the clinical team at Southwest Sydney LHD a single, comprehensive record for each patient, covering timeframes, staging, investigations and protocol compliance to international data standards, plus long-term follow-up on outcomes. The system is modular and scalable, with separate modules for different diseases and treatments, and is used jointly across Western Sydney University, South Western Sydney LHD and the Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD. Despite an unusually complex underlying data set, the clinical team found it straightforward to work with and quick to train new staff on, and it now gives health executives the reporting they need to keep patient care on track.

Suremploy provides physiotherapy-based pre-employment screening to clients across Australia, including manual-handling workplaces and aged-care providers. 52nd Solution took their largely paper-based process fully digital: an online questionnaire that helps physiotherapists prepare for each assessment, self-service online booking, and a reporting system that gives clients real-time access to results, including drug-screening, as soon as they're generated. That's freed Suremploy's admin team from constant phone calls so they can focus on individual clients instead. The team highlighted that 52nd Solution always came in with a list of questions to pin down requirements before building, delivering a solution built specifically around Suremploy's needs rather than an off-the-shelf product.
